Josh #GivesBackToWimwi

Thank you all for filling up the survey and showing so much interest in giving back to IIMA.

During our time on campus, we all felt things needed to be better. Here's our chance to make a difference to current and future students at WIMWI. All contributions make a huge difference, and we're setting a goal of at least 80% of the batch coming in.

All contributions are 100% tax exempt under 80G. A receipt will be sent to you by IIMA.

What will our funds be used for?

We surveyed as most keen on contributing to:

1. Teaching & Research (e.g. Sponsoring a Chair and getting a very high profile professor from an Ivy League University abroad for a period of 4 years. This can give a shot in the arm to quality of teaching and more importantly, quality of research out of IIMA and an enhanced global presence)

2. Improving campus infrastructure (e.g. parts of the old campus are desperately in need of renovation with cracked walls and leaking roof)

3. Student services (e.g. A 24/7 dedicated student counsellor to help students deal with academic/personal stress)
Who will know about my contribution?

All contributions are completely anonymous, and information is only shared between IIMA staff and the individuals.

How will I get the receipt?

For every batch and each purposed donation, the institute creates a separate ledger. These donation will right away go into our batch donation ledger:

After the transfer, please send transfer details to Mr. Ajit Motwani(dohead@iima.ac.in) and mark a copy to Ms Shashikala Patel (shashi@iima.ac.in). They will help tag your donation to the 2008 batch.

How do I make a contribution?

The funds to IIMA can be transferred using one of following four options. Are you?

1. For Indian Alumni donors/ Alumni contributing through a rupee account

This provides for the full tax exemption available to IIMA under 80G. In this case, the institute requires the donor’s PAN number; name as to be printed on the 80G receipt; and the mailing address to courier the original 80G receipt.
